Here is the latest...

You may be wondering what Count Westwest has been up to while we haven't been playing shows or updating this here blog. The short answer is - busy. The long answer is - we've been doing some recording, writing lots of new songs, going on vacations, and getting sick.

We have recorded a few songs onto 4-track : "Maven of Radon", "Bye Bye Berkeley", and "Gaggle". The plan is to cut and paste the recordings we're doing now with several that we did with Frank Padellaro for a complete album. The tentative title for the album, "This Time Tomorrow or Someday" is also the tentative release date.

Finishing this album is imperative as we are getting backlogged with new songs. We'll be playing a handful at our show on March 12th at the Brass Cat in Easthampton with the Mitchells. Several more are nearly done and should be appearing soon. And, we will be appearing soon at Flywheel, on April 3rd with Viva Voce (from Portland, Oregon) and Atomica (from here).

That's about it for now. Thanks for reading.
